Show notes for episode 41 on Fellaheen and Modular
The episode title comes from Ben Lee’s song from 1995. I was looking for a song from the Fellaheen or Modular catalogue that reflected their devil-may-care nature.
Both labels shared Steve Pavlovic, who, I would say, probably didn’t think of himself as a label guy. He did a lot more touring and was sort of bigger than a label manager. Theres been a museum exhibition and a doco about Pav. Fellaheen and Modular were not the story.
I spent some time looking at a full episode on the Rock ‘n’ Roll High School. It’s a story that should get told in a new way. You can find out more about it.
